Role Summary:

The Associate Account Director plays a pivotal role in leading client relationships, overseeing multi-channel campaigns, and managing cross-functional teams. This individual is responsible for ensuring client satisfaction, team performance, and overall delivery excellence across projects by bridging client objectives with delivery capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and grow strategic client accounts with ownership of account performance.
  • Build strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and first point of contact.
  • Oversee project delivery including timelines, budgets, and quality control.
  • Provide direction and leadership to junior and mid-level team members.
  • Drive organic growth through opportunity identification and proactive upselling.
  • Work closely with creative, production, and digital teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Present work confidently to senior stakeholders, managing expectations and feedback.
  • Maintain a high level of market awareness and contribute to new business initiatives.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in an account management role within an agency environment.
  • Proven track record managing multi-channel campaigns and large accounts.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with excellent client-facing and project management abilities.
  • Knowledge of production processes, digital and social media platforms.
  • Ability to lead by example, inspire teams, and drive results.
  • Fluent verbal and written communication in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
  • Experience working with regional clients is advantageous.

Work Environment:

  • Hybrid Model: The role operates within a hybrid working model, with teams in the office around two to three days a week.
  • Regional Collaboration: Regular interaction with regional offshore teams, requiring flexibility and respect of diverse cultures.
  • Dynamic Projects: Engagement in a variety of projects across different media channels, providing a dynamic environment.
