A leading company in the engineering sector is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design and manage scalable cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform. Qualifications

• Min 3 years of IT System experience with GCP services and DevOps tools.
• Possess Google Cloud certification, Kubernetes certification, Redhat certificate.
• Proficient in scripting or programming (Python, Bash, or Go preferred).

Job description

Our Client:

• Engineering Industry (Government Sector)

• Monday to Friday, 830am-6pm

• Ang Mo Kio (Company Transport Provided @ Yio Chu Kang MRT)

• UP $6500 Basic + Stand By Allowance + Performance Bonus

Responsibilities:

• Design and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform

• Deploy containerized applications using Kubernetes (GKE)

• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such Terraform or Deployment Manager

• Collaborate with DevOps, development, and security teams to ensure best practices

• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and disaster recovery

• Optimize cloud resources, improve security practices, and document architecture, processes, and procedures

Requirements:

• Min Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent

• Min 3 year of IT System experience with GCP services (e.g. Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, BigQuery etc.) and DevOps tools (e.g. Git, Jenkins, Cloud Build)

• Possess Google Cloud certification, Kubernetes certification, Redhat certificate

• Proficient in scripting or programming (Python, Bash, or Go preferred) and familiar with Terraform, Ansible or equivalent
