Main Duties

  1. Customer Service Duty: Must meet the realistic challenges and demands of a Primary School setting.
  2. Answer phone calls, manage visitors, take messages, respond to enquiries, and provide general information in a dynamic environment with high call volume.
  3. Use school-implemented IT systems for administrative purposes.
  4. Handle daily varied demands and queries from parents, students, vendors, staff, etc.
  5. Call pupils who are absent and check with parents about their child's status every morning.
  6. Call pupils to convey messages during ad-hoc or special events.
  7. Provide first-level assistance to walk-in pupils, including those who are sick or injured; escalate cases beyond superficial issues to colleagues immediately.
  8. Support situations involving pupils vomiting or soiled clothes.

General Duties

  1. Assist with canteen matters, utility management, FAS applications, arrears fees, bus bookings, etc.
  2. Help update the school activity notice board in the office, ensuring data accuracy.
  3. Maintain the forms cabinet, keeping all forms current and replenished regularly.
  4. Assist with general typing duties.
  5. Support store supplies management during school holidays.
  6. Perform other general administrative duties as required.

The candidate must minimally possess the following qualifications, skills, and experience:

  1. Full GCE 'N', or 'O' Level certificate or equivalent.
  2. Good communication and interpersonal skills, especially in reception duties, preferably in a school environment.
  3. Good team player with a high level of initiative.
