Job Description
Main Duties
- Customer Service Duty: Must meet the realistic challenges and demands of a Primary School setting.
- Answer phone calls, manage visitors, take messages, respond to enquiries, and provide general information in a dynamic environment with high call volume.
- Use school-implemented IT systems for administrative purposes.
- Handle daily varied demands and queries from parents, students, vendors, staff, etc.
- Call pupils who are absent and check with parents about their child's status every morning.
- Call pupils to convey messages during ad-hoc or special events.
- Provide first-level assistance to walk-in pupils, including those who are sick or injured; escalate cases beyond superficial issues to colleagues immediately.
- Support situations involving pupils vomiting or soiled clothes.
General Duties
- Assist with canteen matters, utility management, FAS applications, arrears fees, bus bookings, etc.
- Help update the school activity notice board in the office, ensuring data accuracy.
- Maintain the forms cabinet, keeping all forms current and replenished regularly.
- Assist with general typing duties.
- Support store supplies management during school holidays.
- Perform other general administrative duties as required.
The candidate must minimally possess the following qualifications, skills, and experience:
- Full GCE 'N', or 'O' Level certificate or equivalent.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, especially in reception duties, preferably in a school environment.
- Good team player with a high level of initiative.
