Key Responsibilities
- Technical Solutions : Provide technical solutions to new and existing corporate customers, focusing on train-borne systems (e.g., CCTV, PA systems, PABX, information display systems, Clock system) and other communication and IT-related solutions.
- Tender/Bid Management : Lead the pre-sales and proposals activities for solutions and implementation of large, complex projects involving multiple companies and third-party technologies. Develop project technology strategies with solution architects, partners and product teams by understanding key client objectives. Diagnose and map client requirements using both third-party and company technologies, articulate solution risks and barriers, recommend project approaches, and prepare time and cost estimates for the full project lifecycle.
- Business Value Solutions : Prepare and deliver business value solutions for customers, including proposal writing, presentations, and conducting proof-of-concept demonstrations to showcase technical feasibility when necessary.
- Technical Proposals : Propose technical solutions, oversee the selection of technologies, and estimate resources required to develop and implement solutions that meet customer requirements.
- Cost-Benefit Analysis : Articulate alternatives in terms of cost, benefit, and risk where multiple solutions exist, highlighting the positive impact of the solutions and how they can achieve customer business goals.
- Customer Relationship Management : Manage customer relationships by communicating architecture standards and frameworks, answering questions, and resolving concerns and issues.
- Business Development : Actively participate in the business development lifecycle. Assist the sales team and junior pre-sales team members in identifying opportunities, generating proposals, and supporting other sales efforts.
- Collaboration : Collaborate with project team members during delivery to ensure the solution architecture design is sound and practical, and to improve any areas as needed.
Requirements
- Experience : At least 10 years of relevant working experience, including expertise in enterprise architecture consulting skills such as interviewing stakeholders, conducting architecture/solution reviews, and consensus building.
- Presales Expertise : Experience in presales proposal preparation, including writing and articulating proposals during presentations for tender bidding. Good understanding of Railway communication solutions and tenders procedures.
- Costing and Estimation : Experience with manpower costing and estimation for tender bidding.
- Solution Design : Experience in designing integrated solutions that may include in-house technologies and software development, third-party hardware, and third-party systems.
- Senior-Level Engagement : Demonstrated ability to engage in senior-level technology decision-maker discussions related to agility, business value, and system architecture.
- Interpersonal Skills : Strong interpersonal skills.
- Communication Skills : Excellent written and oral communication skills.
