Job description

Vita Singapore is currently searching for an experienced Commissioning Engineer to join the Project Management & Construction team responsible for the build and delivery of a range of projects.


Vita Partners is the Asia-Pacific’s largest pan-regional pure-play life science, innovation, and R&D real estate platform. The platform focuses on investing, acquiring, developing, constructing, managing, and operating real estate projects in fast-growing life sciences, innovation, and R&D real estate markets in Asia-Pacific. The company operates within two main segments – a high-barrier-to-entry life sciences project construction management business and a specialized investment management business. Since the 2000s, the project construction management business has worked on over 200 projects in Asia-Pacific for more than 100 blue-chip life sciences and pharmaceutical companies, with many repeat clients.


Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Key Accountabilities
  1. Work closely with the construction and validation teams to ensure integrated facility installation, commissioning, and qualifications.
  2. Develop the project commissioning and turnover plans.
  3. Lead system commissioning, start-up & turnover teams on the project.
  4. Drive and develop commissioning plans including scheduling activities.
  5. Develop commissioning project budgets and manloading.
  6. Oversee and implement commissioning programs to ensure quality delivery in accordance with the client’s specified standards.
  7. Identify and select team members.
  8. Drive training standards and delivery for team members.
  9. Plan, schedule, and manage FAT attendance.
  10. Lead in protocol development and execution activities for design review, installation verification, and operational verification.
  11. Provide technical oversight and guidance to the commissioning team.
  12. Collaborate with the Safety team and oversee safety aspects of the commissioning team.
  13. Lead change management activities during the project lifecycle.
  14. Lead report writing, metrics, and schedule reviews.

Requirement

  • Recognized Degree in Process, Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
  • 5-8 years’ experience in a field engineering position.
  • Experience in a similar role in building, refinery, petrochemical, process, or pharmaceutical plant construction would be a distinct advantage.
