Job1. Mechanical Design Engineer

• Working Hours: Monday - Friday [8:30 am - 5:45 pm]

• Location: Kaki Bukit Ave

• Salary: $3,000 - $4,500

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

• Degree with minimum 3 years design experience or Diploma with minimum 4 years design experience

• Good design experience in Machine Automation, Robotic Systems, Material Handling Systems, and experience with Fixtures & Tooling is a plus.

• Good knowledge of SolidWorks / ProE / AutoCAD

• Ability to travel at short notice & good customer engineering skills

Job Scope:

• Plan, organize, coordinate, and implement projects in a timely manner

• Ensure schedules and requirements meet customer criteria

• Participate in feasibility studies, quotations, design, and product development presentations

• Follow up with hands-on troubleshooting and training

Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team and design innovative and efficient bowl feeders. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing automated systems, material handling solutions, and machinery used in assembly lines or production environments. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, testing, and optimizing to meet the needs of our business and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop innovative mechanical features and enhancements for customized automation machinery.

• Drive creativity and initiative in the mechanical design of new products.

• Plan, coordinate, and execute projects efficiently to meet business requirements.

• Contribute to all phases of product development, including feasibility studies, quotations, design, and presentations.

• Participate in the complete product development cycle—from concept design, component selection, and detailed part design to vendor tool management, parts validation, and mass production.

• Collaborate with manufacturing engineering to provide effective tools, techniques, and support.

• Ensure product designs comply with quality standards, cost targets, and project timelines.

• Provide hands-on troubleshooting and training support throughout and after product deployment.

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineering or related discipline.

• Min 3 to 5 years of mechanical design experience in contract manufacturing and automation industry.

• Experience in using 3D CAD such as SolidWorks for product design is essential.

• Familiarity with bowl feeder vibration control and tuning is a plus.
