Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience as an Enrolled Nurse with clinical experience preferred.
- Valid BCLS + AED Certification required.

Job Description:
Patient Care Management
- Perform recovery room(PACU), anaesthetic and circulating nurse duties.
- Perform a variety of nursing, ophthalmic procedures and safety compliances in accordance to established guidelines, policies and procedures.
- Maintain objective assessment of patient physical and psychological conditions.
- Report adverse change of patient’s general condition to the registered nurse and attending doctor promptly.
- Perform concise documentation of pre-operative, intra operative and postoperative nursing activities.
- Demonstrate accountability in providing safe and competent perioperative care.
- Comply with established department guidelines, policies and procedures for safe and correct practices.
- Observe confidentiality of patients’ information and records at all times.
- Keep abreast on changes in the operational policies and procedures
- Participate in quality management and work improvement discussions on nursing care rendered to patients.
Infection Control
- Perform and practice standard precaution at all times when in contact with patients.
- Knowledgeable and skilful in surgical asepsis and Infection Control principles.
- Practice standard precaution and hand hygiene when in contact with patients / patient related activities and surroundings.
- Observe proper disposal of waste in accordance to established guidelines
Quality Management
- Collaborates with health care team to sustain improvement initiatives.
- Comply with approved guidelines and safe practices according to qualities priorities.
- Participate in Quality Improvement projects to enhance nursing care and delivery of service to patients.
Risk Management
- Identify and initiate appropriate level of actions for common causes of hazards.
- Adhere to workplace safety & health (incident reporting) regulations.
- Attend yearly fire safety awareness talk/ drill exercise.
Resource Management
- Conduct inventory audit on anaesthetic equipment and supplies.
- Perform care and maintenance of anaesthetic equipment in accordance to established guidelines.
- Replenish consumables and stationeries according to establish norms at the clinical areas.
Job Requirements:
- SNB Registered Nursing Practicing Certificate
- Certificate in Nursing
- At least 1- 2 years experience as Enrolled Nurse with Clinical experience preferred
- Able to thrive in fast-paced environment
- Valid BCLS + AED Certification
