Job description

Tuas (Company transport at Jurong East)

1. Supervise & lead a team of customer service staffs to fulfil customers’ orders.

2. Liaise with customers via e-mail & telephone for all documentation and administration matters as well as resolving any issues raised.

3. Monitor and ensure shipments being cleared and delivered as prescribed.

4. Ensure Key Performance Indexes are met for all incoming and outgoing activities.

5. Process billing invoices to customer promptly.

6. Extract and tabulate data for report analysis using Microsoft Office Suite.

7. Cultivate and promote physical and mental well-being in the workplace.

8. Take charge of safety in the Section and disseminate safety information to the team.

9. Perform any other job-related functions as and when assigned by superior.

10. Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts.

11. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.

12. Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs).

13. Foster a positive and productive work environment.

14. Collaborate with other departments (e.g., procurement, sales, customer service) to ensure seamless operations.

15. Implement corrective actions to address performance issues.

16. Implement quality assurance processes to ensure goods meet required standards.

17. Address and resolve any quality issues promptly to prevent disruptions.

18. Performs other related duties as directed by superiors.

Qualification

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field

• 3–5 years of relevant experience, including team supervision

• Familiarity with logistics operations, documentation, and safety procedures

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and WMS systems

• Good problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills

• Knowledge of SOPs, quality assurance, and billing processes
