Job Description:

The Corporate Security Assistant Manager (CSAM) will assist our Corporate Security Partner (CSP) at the campuses or remotely. The CSAM is expected to be available outside of scheduled hours, including weekends and holidays, based on emergencies or uncommon incidents.

Responsibilities:

The CSAM works in conjunction with the CSP/CSM to facilitate a safe and secure environment for employees and visitors.

Typical roles and responsibilities of the CSAM include:

  1. Support campus operations
  2. Act as the Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) on assigned projects/tasks
  3. Work with the security team to develop and update Post Orders (POs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  4. Conduct site-related investigations, including video review
  5. Work in partnership with Facilities, GSOC, and other Global Security members

Additional responsibilities include:

  1. Demonstrate professionalism and capability to represent the CSP at high-level meetings and undertake initiatives, acting as the DRI when requested
  2. Manage threat intelligence and analysis activities, including escalations to management and crisis teams
  3. Meet regularly with Facilities personnel and Business Unit (BU) Leadership to build working relationships and address safety and security concerns

Proactively forecast and communicate potential issues, including:

  • Impact of modifying security personnel and devices
  • Impact of unexpected hazards or disasters
  • Tracking schedules related to building construction, maintenance, work/time off
  • Providing accurate and timely recommendations on risks and actions

Support areas include deployment, events, and SOR audits. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Additional Note:

Depending on location, the CSAM may work with a vendor-staffed deployment team. The CSAM should not direct this team; only the CSP/CSM will provide direction. Communication with the security team should adhere to existing rules, regulations, and SOPs.
