Overview:
The Audio Visual (AV) Technician & Administrative Assistant is responsible for delivering seamless audio-visual support for various events while managing related administrative tasks. This role demands technical proficiency, strong customer service skills, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly, ensuring every event runs smoothly.

Duties and Responsibilities:

AV Equipment Management:

  • Set up, test, and operate speakers, microphones, projectors, and other AV gear for events.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance checks to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all AV equipment.

Technical Support & Troubleshooting:

  • Quickly identify and resolve technical issues during events.
  • Provide effective solutions to minimize disruptions and ensure a smooth experience for all participants.
  • Offer technical guidance to event organizers and attendees as needed.

Administrative Support:

  • Monitor room bookings and collaborate with the Hall Assistant to prepare event spaces.
  • Address AV-related inquiries and emails promptly.
  • Assist with ad-hoc administrative tasks, including managing event logistics such as parking arrangements.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards by regularly inspecting equipment and assessing safety protocols.
  • Uphold a high level of cleanliness and hygiene in all work areas.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • ITE/Diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Familiarity with audio-visual equipment and hands-on technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with a positive, vibrant personality.
  • Willingness to work long hours, including weekends and public holidays.
  • A strong passion for cultural matters and a readiness to engage in cultural activities.
  • Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
  • Comfortable working in a Hindu Temple environment.
