Job description

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Junior Quality Control Officer to support our food processing operations. This is an entry-level position, ideal for fresh graduates with a background in Food Science or Food Technology. Candidates with internship or up to 1 year of relevant experience will be preferred.

The successful candidate will be stationed at the processing facility and assist in conducting quality & safety checks across raw materials, processing stages, and finished products to ensure food safety and quality compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct quality control checks on raw materials, in-process products, ingredients, and finished goods.

• Perform Finished Goods quality and safety checks twice daily-once in the morning and once in the afternoon-prior to dispatch.

• Carry out temperature checks for perishable products and transport vehicles to ensure they meet acceptable storage and transport conditions.

• Maintain clear and accurate documentation for all quality control activities.

• Monitor daily hygiene conditions on the production floor, including facility, equipment, and tools cleanliness.

• Ensure availability and proper use of PPE, approved cleaning chemicals, and hygiene tools.

• Identify and report any non-conformances or potential quality risks to the Food Safety Team.

• Review the correctness of recorded manufacturing record form on daily basis.

- This position reporting to Senior QA Executive

Requirements

Higher NITEC or above in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.

- Preferred: 1 year of relevant full-time or internship experience in food manufacturing, processing, or quality assurance.

• Basic understanding of food safety guidelines, SFA requirements, hygiene protocols, and temperature monitoring.

• Strong observation and documentation skills.

• Willingness to work in a production/processing environment and engage in hands-on checks.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Able to use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Docs.

Location: Boon Lay Area

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
