Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of accounts executives to ensure all accounting records are kept accurately and on a timely basis
  • Maintain and update financial records and ledgers
  • Bank reconciliation and other bank related matters
  • Generate statements of accounts to respective department and customer
  • Assist in preparation of monthly and adhoc reporting and audit schedules
  • Assist in monthly financial closing and ensure responsible accounting entries are properly, timely and accurately updated
  • Perform other supporting functions within the Finance Department
  • Preparation of GST submission to IRAS & intercompany billing for Singapore companies
  • Maintain confidentiality of all financial data
  • Responsible for submitting annual budgets & quarterly forecasts to the management
  • Produce annual financial reports within statutory deadlines
  • Ensure that all financial matters are in accordance with legislation, FRS and generally acceptable accounting practices
  • Liaise with corporate secretarial agents, auditors, tax agent, solicitors, bankers and statutory organizations etc, for preparation and submission of necessary regulatory documentation & returns etc.
  • Any other duties and responsibilities assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree or above in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines, with 3-5 years working experience in finance
  • CPA Holder of professional qualification or equivalent is preferred
  • Experience in financial software, including proficiency in Excel is preferred;
  • Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
