About the job Senior Accountant - Cost & Revenue

Senior Accountant Cost & Revenue (Singapore)

An exciting opportunity is available for a talented Senior Accountant to take ownership of cost and revenue accounting activities at a high-performing, internationally connected organization within the high-tech and semiconductor sector.

In this vital role, you will:

  • Drive worldwide inventory standard cost updates within Oracle ERP systems.
  • Manage zero-cost updates, cost roll-ups (BOM), and monitor inventory excess & obsolescence (E&O) provisions.
  • Oversee subcontractor inventory reconciliations and Discrepant Material Requisition (DMR) approvals.
  • Support Return Material Authorization (RMA) accruals, customer sample accruals, and rebate management.
  • Lead month-end close activities for both revenue and cost streams.
  • Oversee Accounts Receivable processes including collections, cash application, credit reviews, and dispute resolution.
  • Manage and validate distributor Ship & Debit claims, distributor inventory reconciliations, and point-of-sale (POS) data.
  • Prepare and manage revenue forecasts for management reporting.
  • Support internal and external audits related to inventory, distributors, and other assigned areas.
  • Participate actively in new system implementations and operational finance projects.
  • Supervise a small, capable finance team based in Singapore.

What You Bring:
  • A degree from a reputable university.
  • 57 years of progressive experience, including time spent in a Big 4 accounting firm.
  • Solid hands-on expertise in cost accounting and revenue/accounts receivable accounting.
  • Strong background in month-end close processes.
  • Prior experience in high-tech and semiconductor industries is essential.
  • Proven supervisory and leadership experience managing junior finance staff.
  • A proactive, analytical, and detail-oriented approach to managing complex financial operations.
