Operations Manager (with M&E Focus) :
- Oversee and manage all site project operations, ensuring efficient execution aligned with project scope, schedule, cost, and quality objectives.
- Analyze and interpret tender documents, construction drawings, technical specifications, and contracts to ensure full compliance with project requirements.
- Lead the planning and sequencing of construction and M&E works in accordance with the master and detailed work programs, considering cost control and resource optimization.
- Supervise and coordinate mechanical, electrical, and architectural works, ensuring proper integration and resolving technical conflicts across disciplines.
- Attend client, consultant, and authority meetings to address M&E-related matters and general site progress, ensuring smooth communication and issue resolution.
- Monitor site activities and progress regularly, comparing actual output with planned targets; initiate corrective actions where necessary to maintain project timelines.
- Manage procurement, allocation, and utilization of key resources including manpower, machinery, materials, and subcontractors.
- Conduct coordination meetings with Site Managers, Engineers, M&E teams, and subcontractors to align execution strategies and resolve operational bottlenecks.
- Ensure all works adhere to legal regulations, contractual obligations, and safety standards; maintain a healthy and accident-free working environment.
- Lead risk management efforts and safety compliance programs with the aim of achieving zero incidents or near misses.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives on-site, optimizing workflows and enhancing project delivery efficiency.
- Perform any additional operational duties or special assignments as directed by senior management.
- Minimum 10 to 15 years of working experience in the construction industry, preferably in project/site operations or coordination roles.
- Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, M & E Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong technical knowledge of construction processes, materials, methods, and M&E coordination
- Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and also as part of a dynamic team.
- High level of attention to detail and strong safety awareness on-site.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Familiarity with project scheduling tools and reporting is an advantage.
- Knowledge of local construction regulations and safety standards.
