A leading company in Singapore is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor responsible for overseeing preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment and facilities. The role involves supervising technicians, maintaining documentation, and ensuring safety standards in the workplace.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Preventive Maintenance
- Oversee inspections and supervise technicians and contractors in servicing, repairing, and maintaining equipment, plants, and facilities.
2. Corrective Maintenance
- Aid technicians in troubleshooting minor and major repairs, replacements, and improvements for equipment, plants, and facilities.
- Make decisions and plan recovery operations, organizing repairs in the workshop to minimize delays and downtime.
- Implement corrective actions prompted by audit, hygiene and safety findings.
3. Documentation and Records
- Maintain and update preventive maintenance records for both in-house and external contracts.
- Ensure accurate documentation of CCP2 records and utility readings.
- Assist auditors by providing necessary documents and explanations.
- Update maintenance logs and spare parts checklists daily.
- Ensure technicians complete required training modules and stop observations.
4. Safety and Housekeeping
- Uphold a safe work environment and practices.
- Ensure proper use of tools and personal protective equipment.
- Maintain good housekeeping standards in the work area.
5. Breakdown Maintenance
- Troubleshoot, rectify, and reactivate kitchen equipment and facilities; if unable, coordinate with external vendors to restore operations promptly.
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors to rectify emergency and urgent situation.
6. Miscellaneous
- Exercise cost-effective practices in spare parts replacement.
- Participate in work improvement initiatives and Stop Observation Schemes.
- Engage in self-development to enhance technical supervisory and project management skills.
