Job description

Our client is seeking an AI Engineer with hands-on experience in Large Language Models (LLMs) and Natural Language Processing (NLP) to be part of the AI/ML team. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying intelligent systems that process and understand human language at scale. If you're passionate about working with cutting-edge language models and transforming AI research into real-world applications, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Design, fine-tune, and deploy LLMs (e.g., GPT, LLaMA, Claude, Mistral, or similar) for specific use cases

• Build and optimize NLP pipelines for tasks such as text classification, summarization, entity recognition, sentiment analysis, and question answering

• Work with APIs and open-source frameworks (e.g., Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain)

• Collaborate with data engineers, software developers, and product teams to integrate AI models into production systems

• Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, and prompt engineering to improve model outcomes

• Monitor model performance and iterate based on feedback and evaluation metrics

• Stay up-to-date with the latest in NLP research and foundation models

• Ensure scalable deployment of models using cloud platforms (e.g., AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, or GCP AI Platform)

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or related field

• 2–5+ years of experience in AI/ML with a strong focus on NLP and LLMs

• Proficiency in Python and key ML/NLP libraries (e.g., Transformers, SpaCy, NLTK, PyTorch, TensorFlow)

• Experience working with Hugging Face, OpenAI, Cohere, or similar LLM providers

• Strong understanding of prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and evaluation techniques

• Experience deploying models in real-world applications using RESTful APIs or microservices

• Familiarity with vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate) and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) approaches

• Solid problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
