Roles & Responsibilities

1. To supervise the construction works in accordance to the project specifications, construction drawings, and Building Control Acts and Regulations
2. To monitor site works to ensure that work is carried out in accordance to the approved construction drawings
3. To keep proper site inspection records
Check drawings and specifications for discrepancies and highlight to QP and Contractor
4. Review contractor’s method statements, highlight discrepancies and inspect works on site to ensure contractor execute works in accordance to approved method statement
Enforce quality control on site and monitor site safety
5. Attend meeting with qualified persons and project consultants/clients
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Experience in Civil Engineering projects which include RTO duties.
Degree in Civil Engineering /Suitable Equivalent
Be already accredited as a C&S Resident Technical Officer (RTO) by Institution of Engineering Singapore (IES) or Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore (ACES)
Certificate in BCSS (Building Construction Safety Supervision) or other similar construction-safety certification
At least 4-5 years of experience as a Resident Technical Officer (RTO) with LTA project or similar site-based role (e.g. Site Engineer)
