A leading company in medical technology is seeking a Clinical Sales Representative to drive product adoption of the da Vinci robotic surgical platform. The role involves sales, clinical support, and relationship management with healthcare professionals. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Clinical Sales Representative to join our growing medical technology team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in selling medical consumables and capital equipment, with hands-on experience supporting the da Vinci robotic surgical platform. This role involves driving product adoption, building strong clinical relationships, and supporting surgical teams throughout the sales and implementation process.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
Drive sales of medical consumables, capital equipment, and robotic systems with a focus on the da Vinci robotic platform.
Account Management:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with surgeons, operating room staff, procurement teams, and hospital administrators.
Clinical Support:
Provide in-theatre clinical support during robotic surgical procedures. Assist in product setup, troubleshooting, and best practice guidance.
Education & Training:
Deliver training sessions and educational programs for surgical teams to ensure proficient and independent use of the da Vinci system and related products.
Strategic Planning:
Develop territory plans, sales strategies, and educational initiatives tailored to the specific needs of each healthcare facility.
Product Expertise:
Maintain deep knowledge of the da Vinci system, medical consumables, and associated equipment to support sales and clinical adoption.
Event & Workshop Coordination:
Organize product demonstrations, workshops, and case observations to promote technology awareness and drive engagement.
Reporting & Forecasting:
Track sales performance, report customer feedback, and maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and market trends.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in medical device or consumables sales, preferably in the operating room environment.
Prior experience working with da Vinci robotic surgical systems is highly preferred.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing territory revenue.
Strong clinical acumen, with the ability to provide credible support in surgical settings.
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently.
Willingness to travel within the assigned territory, including to hospitals, conferences, and training sites.
