Job description

At Unwine, our Service Crew (Waitress) is responsible for delivering an excellent guest experience while working to achieve departmental targets. They are responsible for anticipating the needs of patrons, maintaining the established standards of service, and adhering to the policies and procedures of the restaurant. The main responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  1. Checking the table setting, cleanliness, and side station preparation prior to each meal period.
  2. Greeting and bidding farewell to guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
  3. Offering menu options, providing menu advice, and taking orders.
  4. Serving food efficiently.
  5. Operating and using the POS system.
  6. Looking for opportunities to upsell and add value.
  7. Handling guest complaints or problems professionally, and informing the manager or immediate supervisor of all matters.
  8. Ensuring accuracy in order taking and timeliness in pickup and delivery of menu items.
  9. Maintaining cleanliness and safety in food preparation and service areas.
  10. Performing or assisting with hosting and bartender duties as required.
  11. Carrying out opening and closing shift duties as assigned.
