Job description

Job Purpose:

The Solution Sales role is responsible for achieving sales and profit targets for specific product groups, maximizing returns for TD SYNNEX and vendors. This position focuses on sales enablement through marketing programs, sales training, technical support, and vendor relationships, targeting both the extended sales team and partner community.

Responsibilities:
  1. Create business plans for vendor product groups and services.
  2. Develop and implement sales enablement programs for TD SYNNEX and partners.
  3. Ensure technical sales support teams are well-trained for relevant product groups.
  4. Develop and execute marketing programs aligned with product objectives.
  5. Initiate joint initiatives with vendors and partners.
  6. Plan inventory management to minimize obsolescence and meet demand.
  7. Implement business plans to meet revenue and profit targets.
  8. Achieve revenue goals by brand and market segment.
  9. Coordinate internal functions to deliver product plans.
  10. Maintain proactive, high-level relationships with vendor partners.
  11. Develop operational vendor relationships.
  12. Keep updated on sales processes, pipeline, and partner engagement for product leadership.
  13. Enhance vendor and partner satisfaction levels.
  14. Promote safety awareness within the team.
  15. Maintain accurate sales pipeline data.
  16. Monitor performance data to meet vendor commitments and optimize rebates.
  17. Forecast and plan business activities with vendors.
  18. Generate reports for decision-making.
  19. Lead and advocate for product groups within TD SYNNEX and vendors.
  20. Support sales team development for relevant product groups.
  21. Address performance issues effectively and lead by example.
  22. Contribute to the leadership team for business sustainability.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
  • 4-6 years experience in IT distribution.
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher.
  • Vendor product sales certifications.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented.
  • Good business sense.
  • Ability to work independently.
