Job Description:

We are seeking a Finance Analyst for the Asia Pacific Enterprise Functions FP&A team, based in Singapore.

This role offers an opportunity to work closely with cross-sector functional leaders and business partners such as IT, Finance, HR, and Procurement.

We seek individuals with a growth mindset, open to advancing their careers in various aspects of finance within J&J as they develop professionally. The ideal candidate should be technically proficient, articulate, capable of working independently with stakeholders, and confident in engaging with senior leaders. A can-do attitude, agility, and adaptability in ambiguous environments are also desirable.

Responsibilities include:
  1. End-to-end support for designated functions in the Asia Pacific region:
  • Managing overall forecasting, planning, and actual analysis
  • Participating in annual budget and update cycles
  • Collaborating with global, regional, and local partners to manage planning cycles
  • Working with country partners to identify local budget needs
  • Regional consolidation and providing financial and business analysis to regional leaders
  1. Decision support analysis:
  • Conducting financial, accounting, or planning analysis in budgeting and forecasting
  • Challenging business assumptions and developing alternative scenarios or 'what-if' analyses
  • Educating business partners on financial concepts and ownership
  1. Quarter close and reporting:
  • Reviewing quarterly results with business partners and identifying risks and opportunities for the region

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Supporting monthly/quarterly close activities for the Global Functions FP&A team, including coordinating intercompany transactions
  • Supporting IT fixed assets reporting and ad-hoc audits
  • Serving as Subject Matter Expert for account-to-report activities
  • Driving global projects and continuous improvement activities
  • Ensuring policies and procedures are followed
