Job description

Our client is a leader in the Water Treatment industry in Singapore. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Senior Process & Mechanical Engineer to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the East.

Job Responsibilities

• Interpret initial design data from internal proposal or sales teams.

• Work with internal teams to develop technical and commercial proposals.

• Design the systems that meet project requirements.

• Perform calculations and size equipment accurately.

• Create datasheets for valves, equipment, instruments, and piping.

• Prepare technical documents such as PFDs, P&IDs, GA drawings, and interface schematics.

• Review 3D models of equipment skids for compliance with project standards.

• Review vendor quotations and technical submissions to ensure specification compliance.

• Support cost estimation throughout the project and coordinate pricing inputs.

• Participate in vendor assessments and risk reviews during the bidding process.

• Assist in commissioning, site inspections, and construction activities as needed.

• Provide troubleshooting and performance support for ongoing operations.

• Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirement

• Min Degree in Chemical Engineering and/or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical)

• At least 5 years of experience in Water and Waste Treatment or Oil and Gas onshore/offshore experience.

• Knowledge in designing of complex industrial water treatment systems

• Experience in project management / plant testing & commissioning / facility setup will be an added advantage

• Proficiency using Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project, good report writing skills
