Job description

You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the total nursing care for an assigned group of patients, as well as perform a wide variety of nursing procedures and patient education to meet patients’ needs. You will have opportunities to work in Cardiothoracic Surgery and Cardiology inpatient wards. The work schedule will be discussed and planned with successful applicants based on mutual agreement, requiring at least 2 days or their equivalent hours per week with shift work.

Requirements:

  1. Registered Nurse or Nursing qualification recognized by the Singapore Nursing Board with at least 1-2 years’ nursing experience in an acute hospital setting.
  2. Documented proof of:
  3. Measles (or Mumps, Measles, and Rubella) vaccination or serological evidence of measles immunity.
  4. Diphtheria (Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis) vaccination taken within the previous 10 years, as required for healthcare workers under the Healthcare Services Act effective from 3 January 2022. Applicants without these vaccinations are welcome to apply if they commit to completing the vaccination(s) before starting work, upon successful interview and employment offer.
  5. We regret that only applicants fully vaccinated against Covid-19 (per MOH’s definitions) will be considered due to exposure risks.
