Job summary

A leading company in Singapore is seeking a Project Manager to oversee major development projects. The role involves collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Job description

What the role is:

Plan, manage, implement, and supervise major development projects.

What you will be working on:

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agencies/partners on major development projects from project inception to handover.
  2. Responsible for design management, project management, and coordination throughout the entire project life cycle.
  3. Develop detailed implementation programmes and strategies.
  4. Develop project briefs, requirements, and technical specifications for the procurement of consultancy and construction contracts.
  5. Identify project interface issues and collaborate with all interfacing parties to develop effective mitigation measures.
  6. Identify project risks and implement necessary mitigation measures.
  7. Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and meet specified quality standards.
  8. Demonstrate the ability to work independently and lead project teams.
  9. Manage project team dynamics and assign appropriate tasks to relevant team members.
  10. Facilitate and organise meetings with internal stakeholders and external agencies/partners.
  11. Conduct regular site visits/inspections and report on quality and progress.

What we are looking for:

Job Requirements
  1. Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
  2. Minimum of 10 years post-graduate relevant experience in the construction industry.
  3. Experience in Design and/or Design Management in multi-disciplinary engineering projects or infrastructure projects.
  4. Project management experience in large-scale engineering infrastructure projects is an advantage.
  5. Strong written and communication skills in English and ability to engage stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
  6. This is a 3-year contract with the possibility of renewal.
