Office Hours Pharmacy Technician (Hospital/ Polyclinics - Islandwide) #HJC

Working Hours: Office hours

1) Daily Operations
• Provide professional and courteous service to all patients/customers
• Process medication orders/prescriptions for both inpatient and outpatient
• Picking, packing and labelling in accordance with stipulated policies, guidelines and department standard operating procedures
• Perform billing functions
• Ensure work area is ready for daily operations
• Maintain the cleanliness of the pharmacy and ward areas where drugs are stored
• Involvement in workplace quality improvement projects/activities as and when required

2) Inventory Management
• Ensure stocks are stocked up properly and tidily according to First-Expiry-First-Out (FEFO) requirement and stipulated storage condition
• Able to use omnicell to determine availability of stock in various wards
• Ensure correct receiving of goods
• Secondary repackaging/redressing
• Carry out cycle counts and stock takes periodically according to SOPs

3) Dispensing
• Dispense medications to patients in accordance with stipulated policies, guidelines and department standard operating procedures

Requirements
• Possess Certified Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPTC) OR Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science
• Have initiative and able to work independently to achieve goals of the department
