What the role is:
Plan, manage, implement, and supervise major development projects.
What you will be working on:
- Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agencies/partners on major development projects from project inception to handover.
- Responsible for design management, project management, and coordination throughout the entire project life-cycle.
- Develop detailed implementation programmes and strategies.
- Develop project briefs, requirements, and technical specifications for the procurement of consultancy and construction contracts.
- Identify project interface issues and collaborate with all interfacing parties to develop effective mitigation measures.
- Identify project risks and implement necessary mitigation measures.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and meet specified quality standards.
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently and lead project teams.
- Manage project team dynamics and assign appropriate tasks to relevant team members.
- Facilitate and organize meetings with internal stakeholders and external agencies/partners.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections, and report on quality and progress.
What we are looking for:
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 15 years post-graduate relevant experience in the construction industry.
- Registered Professional Engineer in Civil Engineering would be an advantage.
- Required to have Project Management experience in large-scale engineering infrastructure projects and have managed contracts with a value of at least S$200 million.
- Required to possess Design and/or Design Management experience in multi-disciplinary engineering projects or infrastructure projects.
- Project Management experience in managing deep underground infrastructure projects would be an advantage.
- Possess strong written and communication skills in English and able to engage stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
- This is a 3-year contract with the possibility of renewal.
