What the role is:

Plan, manage, implement, and supervise major development projects.

What you will be working on:

1. Key Responsibilities
2. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agencies/partners on major development projects from project inception to handover.
3. Responsible for design management, project management, and coordination throughout the entire project life-cycle.
4. Develop detailed implementation programmes and strategies.
5. Develop project briefs, requirements, and technical specifications for the procurement of consultancy and construction contracts.
6. Identify project interface issues and collaborate with all interfacing parties to develop effective mitigation measures.
7. Identify project risks and implement necessary mitigation measures.
8. Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and meet specified quality standards.
9. Demonstrate the ability to work independently and lead project teams.
10. Manage project team dynamics and assign appropriate tasks to relevant team members.
11. Facilitate and organize meetings with internal stakeholders and external agencies/partners.
12. Conduct regular site visits and inspections, and report on quality and progress.

What we are looking for:

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 15 years post-graduate relevant experience in the construction industry.
• Registered Professional Engineer in Civil Engineering would be an advantage.
• Required to have Project Management experience in large-scale engineering infrastructure projects and have managed contracts with a value of at least S$200 million.
• Required to possess Design and/or Design Management experience in multi-disciplinary engineering projects or infrastructure projects.
• Project Management experience in managing deep underground infrastructure projects would be an advantage.
• Possess strong written and communication skills in English and able to engage stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
• This is a 3-year contract with the possibility of renewal.
