OTC Derivatives Transaction Business Analyst, Singapore, Hong Kong

Role Summary

This is a great opportunity to join our fast-growing Consulting and Regulatory Solutions Business working with some of the world's leading financial institutions.

As an OTC Derivatives Transaction Business Analyst in Singapore or Hong Kong, the successful candidate will work directly with our clients across various capabilities including analysis, requirements validation, data modeling and sourcing, mapping, controls, test design, and others. You will ensure the client receives the quality consulting services that Delta Capita (DC) offers. You will be the primary point of contact between the customer and DC as part of our Global Consulting team based in Singapore.

Role and Responsibilities

No day will look the same. This role is ideal for someone with exceptional client experience across a broad range of clients, ensuring the fast and effective management of client workflows. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing client integration projects, both small and large, analyzing regulatory requirements, and working with client development teams to implement solutions and address regulatory queries.

  • Regulatory remediation and enforcement response

  • Operational resilience assessment and remediation

Experience required (2-5 years):

  • Performing business analysis and requirements gathering for trade and transaction reporting across major regulatory regimes including MAS, ASIC, HKMA, and JFSA
  • Conducting gap analyses and interpreting new data fields for various Rewrites: MAS, ASIC, JFSA
  • Translating regulatory requirements into business requirements and functional specifications; managing client data extraction, transformation, and loading
  • Collaborating with technology, operations, sales, and business development teams to deliver regulatory reporting solutions
  • Writing test scripts based on business use cases to cover relevant scenarios for Rewrite requirements
  • Working with Development and QA during testing to ensure implementation meets design and requirements
  • Overseeing sanity and component testing of new features during development & review of test plans
  • Supporting the implementation of small to medium-sized projects
  • Acting as a liaison between the client and the delivery team to define and validate requirements
  • Partnering with developers and testers to design and deliver solutions
  • Maintaining strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders

Preferred qualifications:

  • Previous consulting experience
  • Experience in Capital Management, Operations, Middle Office, Operational Risk, Liquidity Management (beneficial)
  • Regulatory exposure such as MiFID II / MiFIR, Basel, IBOR, FRTB, CRD & CRR, SFTR, Operational Resilience (beneficial)

Language requirement: Proficient in Chinese
