Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee and optimize our operations in the Chemical sector. The COO will play a crucial role in driving financial performance, operational efficiency, and strategic growth while ensuring seamless execution of business processes. The ideal candidate must possess a strong background in engineering, science, or technology and be well-versed in financial management, supply chain operations, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee company-wide operational planning, budgeting, and performance tracking.
Work with the finance team to ensure sound financial governance and accurate reporting.
Lead supply chain, logistics, procurement, and inventory management processes.
Streamline operational workflows to increase efficiency and manage cost structures.
Foster strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliability and cost-effectiveness.
Lead and mentor diverse teams across operations, finance, and customer service.
Implement industry best practices and ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
Drive innovation by incorporating new technologies and staying updated with market trends.
Identify risks and apply mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior operational or leadership role.
Proven ability to lead and manage teams across multiple functions.
Deep understanding of engineering applications relevant to the industry.
Strong financial knowledge, including budgeting, financial metrics, and cost control.
Proficiency in supply chain management, logistics, and inventory control.
Knowledge of procurement processes and supplier negotiations.
