Job description

• Perform monthly inventory reconciliation between Accounting System and Warehouse inventory records.

• Perform monthly inventory costing reconciliation between Accounting System and Management Accounts

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports, summarizing stock levels, movements, and any issues

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for inventory planning and management.

• Review stock movement to minimise stock holding period

• Conducting periodic inventory stock check and identify reasons for differences

Inventory maintenance and forecasting:

• Assist in forecasting stock requirements

• Provide inputs to maintain optimum inventory levels for stock optimization.

• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of inventory aging.

Policies and Processes:

• Adherence to inventory management policies and provide recommendations to enhance the policies and processes

Coordination with Vendors, Finance and Warehouse Teams for inventory management:

• Ensure seamless coordination between warehouse and finance teams

• Oversee inventory discrepancies linked to supplier delivery, purchase order accuracy against received goods received and invoiced.

Audit Support:

• Provide audit support for inventory valuations, reconciliations, and control processes.

Requirement:

i) Strong numerical sense

ii) Proficiency in MS Excel

iii) Diploma/Degree in Accounting

iv) Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills

v) Excellent communication and stakeholder management skill

vi) Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
