Business Function

Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

The role forms part of the virtual access infrastructure service team thatenhance, maintain and support on premises and cloud virtual access systems which enables remote work access for world-wide users across various business and support units.

Team develops Cloud App Store for users to subscribe and access business applications, tech support workbenches and cloud developer workbenches remotely. Team members have the opportunity to conceptualise and develop features for Cloud App Store and services to manage day-to-day operations of our remote access services.

Responsibilities

  • Handle Features development independently
  • Write well-designed and testable code for Features on Product Backlog
  • Continuous improvement on application usability and operational efficiency
  • Document and maintain solution design and operation procedures
  • Work closely, and communicate effectively with team members, internal users and partners as well as external suppliers and vendors to shape solution for Features on Product Backlog
  • Comply with Bank's policies and delivery standards

Requirements

  • Proven 2-3 years of experience in system operation or software development
  • Proficient in JavaScript, Shell scripting, Windows Server, GIT and SQL in an enterprise operation environment
  • Knowledge of Design Pattern
  • Experience in Typescript, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Container and AWS is a PLUS
