Job description

What the role is:

Join Tote Board’s forward-looking HR team and be part of our mission to inspire positive change and create meaningful social impact. As Assistant Director (Human Resource), you will play a pivotal role in building and developing our most valuable asset – our people. Working closely with the HR team, you will help share our organisational culture and capabilities to support Tote Board’s vision of being a catalyst and enabler for Better Everyday. Your contributions will be instrumental in developing a high-performing workforce that drives our purpose of uplifting communities and strengthening our society.

What you will be working on:

Reporting to the Deputy Director (Human Resource), you will play a strategic role in delivering comprehensive HR functions and building strong partnerships with stakeholders. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the organisation’s human capital strategy and drive HR transformation through technology and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation and optimisation of daily HR operations, ensuring service excellence and compliance with established policies and procedures while identifying areas for improvement and innovation.

  • Shape employee development frameworks through strategic assessment of learning requirements to build organisational capabilities.

  • Act as a HR Business partner, providing guidance on workforce planning, performance management and employee relations in alignment with organisational objectives.

  • Assist in the planning and driving of strategic workplan which includes redesigning of roles and re-skilling of workforce, change management and employee engagement.

  • Drive the AI and machine learning adoption in HR processes, identifying opportunities for automation and digital transformation to improve operational efficiency.

  • Manage end-to-end performance management processes, including performance reviews, rankings, and promotions.

  • Develop and execute talent management strategies to attract, develop and retain high-potential employees for the succession planning of key positions.


What we are looking for:

Key Requirements and Specific Skills:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in HR management and development, business partnership and stakeholder engagement.

  • Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving skills.

  • Meticulous and details-oriented yet with broad strategic perspectives.

  • Highly adaptable and resilient in managing priorities and driving change.

  • Proficient in HRIS platforms, particularly WorkDay.

Note: This is a fixed term contract position.
