A leading family office seeks its first hire to build and manage operations for a billionaire's personal and philanthropic activities. This hands-on role requires extensive experience in leadership, finance, and administration, with a focus on service excellence and strategic support for the family.
The Principal is an Asian billionaire, owns a conglomerate crossing all sorts of business sectors with global footprints.
The position will be the first hire to form a family office, leading the joined efforts with the business CoS team to support the Principal's personal, philanthropic, PR, and family wealth management activities.
S/He will build the family office from the ground up and work closely with the family to develop a more formalized strategic and operational family office infrastructure. S/He is essentially the right-hand person of the family, ensuring smooth operations and supporting the family’s strategic goals.
S/He should have a passion for serving others, act as a “full-time driver” capable of tackling ambiguous challenges, and have experience leading complex operations across complementary teams. During the initial phase, likely the first couple of years, this role will be very hands-on and highly entrepreneurial as the service delivery model is developed, implemented, and refined. Like most family office leadership roles, s/he will serve as a classic “expert generalist” with responsibilities ranging from direct involvement to collaborative support, quarterbacking, and oversight.
