Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure across the organization.

• Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools.

• Ensure the highest levels of system availability and proactively address potential issues.

• Monitor and test application performance for bottlenecks and collaborate with developers to implement solutions.

• Maintain robust security protocols, backup, redundancy, and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) strategies.

• Participate in the design of information systems and operational support frameworks.

• Liaise with vendors and internal IT teams to resolve infrastructure-related issues.

• Manage and support a VMware environment, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.

• Provide enterprise-level support for Microsoft Azure and Red Hat Linux platforms.

• Administer HPE and Hitachi storage environments.

• Deliver 24/7 support, including on-call rotation at least one week per month.

• Deploy and manage containers using Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies smoothly into existing systems.

• Monitor software systems for performance, availability, and reliability.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for software configurations and operational procedures.

• Provide Day 1 and Day 2 support for deployments and ongoing operations.

Core Technical Skills

• Cloud & OS Platforms: Microsoft Azure, Red Hat Linux

• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).

• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab, Podman).

• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.

• Ability to manage and configure databases (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
