- Lead the strategic business development efforts for a general contracting firm specializing in building construction, with a focus on Architecture and interior projects, primarily in Singapore but with potential sales involvement in overseas markets such as China and other Asian countries.
- Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion, leveraging industry expertise, market insights, and international networks.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships within the Singaporean market, including government projects, private sector contracts, and infrastructure developments, while also exploring sales opportunities overseas.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, industry associations, contractors, architects, and engineering firms, to position the company as a preferred partner for construction projects.
- Conduct market research and analysis to assess market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes, providing insights for product development and market positioning strategies.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and project management, to align business development efforts with company objectives and ensure seamless execution of projects.
- Demonstrate adaptability and resilience to work in challenging conditions, including hot weather and long hours on-site, while also being prepared to travel overseas as needed to attend meetings, conferences, and industry events, reflecting a strong commitment to driving business growth and maximizing opportunities both domestically and internationally.
