Job description

Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.

As part of the content generation team within Brand & Communications, create an asset library of footage/photos to fuel organic and compelling story-telling.

Collaborate with the broader Brand & Communications team to integrate creative production needs and drive content that strengthens brand building and support wider organisation needs.

Work closely with the organisation’s internal stakeholders for capturing, recording and archiving rejuvenation / wildlife / field conservation moments.

This 2-year contract role reports to Senior Manager Content Generation, Brand & Communications.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage an asset library of footage and photos
  • Coordinate and manage various aspects of the production process from start to completion;
  • Capture and build a content repository (video, photos etc);
  • Plan and manage visual archives of project milestones and activities for future use
  • Create and adapt content formats for various needs, e.g. social media videos, corporate videos, media kits, etc.
  • Manage documentary production (working with external production houses)

Requirements:

  • Minimum diploma in Film, Sound and Video production, Mass Communications, Multimedia or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 to 4 years relevant experience as a video/content producer or a portfolio demonstrating similar experience for Assistant Manager Level. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply for the Senior Executive level.
  • Ability to plan and execute productions independently - applying creative thinking as well as competent technical skills (story-boarding, filming, sound-recording, video post production etc)
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premiere Pro and After Effects
  • A keen eye for impactful imagery and effective editorial storytelling
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and across teams.
