The solutions we build help make everything from virtual reality experiences to breakthroughs in neural networks possible. We do it all while committing to integrity, sustainability, and giving back to our communities. Because doing so can fuel the very innovation we are pursuing.

As a Process Engineer, you will be primarily responsible for starting up, developing, and optimizing processes to improve product quality and reliability. Your role includes working on process yield improvement, cost reduction, productivity enhancement, and risk management, as well as resolving manufacturing line problems. You will also identify, diagnose, and resolve assembly process-related issues by applying failure analysis, FMEA, 8D, or SPC/FDC methodologies. Additional responsibilities involve coordinating and conducting process, equipment, and material evaluation/optimization to implement changes at process steps, leading and participating in yield improvement and cost reduction activities, handling new process baseline qualifications, and managing, auditing, and liaising with material suppliers to achieve quality, cost, and risk management objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve assembly process-related problems.
  • Coordinate and execute process, equipment, and material evaluation/optimization initiatives and implement changes at process steps.
  • Lead or participate in continuous yield improvement and cost reduction activities.
  • Validate and implement new process baseline qualifications, including new processes, tools, and materials for new product introductions.
  • Support SPC/FDC/RMS/APC processes.
  • Support site-to-site portability.
  • Manage and audit material suppliers to meet quality, cost, and risk management objectives.
  • Support internal and external audits.
Requirements:
  • PhD in Electrical & Electronics, Chemistry, Mechanical, or Materials Engineering.
  • Strong aptitude for research and development with the ability to create production-worthy technologies.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relations with multi-functional teams and vendors.
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation).
  • Highly motivated and adaptable to our demanding, dynamic, and rapidly changing work environment; flexibility to work extended hours as required.
  • Willingness to travel to US R&D sites for collaborative research and development work.
