A leading company in the production of tea, coffee, and plant-based ingredients is seeking a Southeast Asia Region Sales Manager. This role involves driving sales strategies, managing client relationships, and expanding market presence in the food service industry. Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to join our team in expanding and maintaining our international market presence as Southeast Asia Region Sales Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales strategies, managing client relationships, and ensuring the achievement of business goals, all while reporting directly to the Overseas Sales Director. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a global environment, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to our company’s growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Strategy Execution: Implement sales strategies for international clients, driving market expansion and the acquisition of key customers, aligned with company goals.
Develop and Expand Markets: Focus on developing and expanding the industrial and food service markets in SEA, creating new business opportunities.
Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored sales solutions to achieve sales targets.
Sales Target Achievement: Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective performance monitoring and the implementation of corrective actions when needed.
Market Analysis & Intelligence: Gather market intelligence to stay ahead of competitors, adapt to market changes, and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
Formulate Effective Sales Strategies: Use gathered market insights to develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business growth.
Reporting and Feedback: Provide timely updates to leadership on sales progress and market trends, contributing to decision-making and strategy refinement.
International Team Collaboration: Work closely with multinational teams, sharing insights and best practices to achieve global sales integration and consistency.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Food Science, or related fields
3-5 years of international sales experience
Familiarity with Southeast Asian foodservice clients with the ability to expand and manage international food industry accounts.
Strong understanding of the beverage industry markets in SEA, and familiarity with the food ingredients and additives industry
In-depth knowledge of the food industry, market trends, competitors, and customer needs
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Proven success in working with teams to achieve sales targets and contribute to company growth.
Proactive and adaptable with a strong eagerness to learn and grow in the role.
Must be fluent in both Mandarin and English
Flexibility to be based in other Southeast Asia countries as and when required, or to report to the company’s headquarters in Shanghai, to support business operations
