An established industry player is seeking a dynamic finance leader to spearhead their financial function. This role involves building a robust finance team, managing comprehensive financial operations, and setting strategic financial directions to drive growth. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in corporate finance, a proven track record in strategic planning, and exceptional leadership abilities. You would lead the set up of the finance function including team, reporting, planning, cash management, operation, systems and policies across company. You would also set the overall financial strategy of the company to support business and drive desired growth.
Responsibilities
Part of company's leadership team, build & lead finance function, including for company's subsidiaries
Manage all aspects of finance and accounting, including cost accounting function
Set up effective internal controls to ensure compliance with relevant international and national accountings standards
Assist the company in the various fundraising processes, equity and debt
Partner with company’s financial advisor(s) to ensure effectiveness in the fundraising processes
Work closely with actual and potential debt and equity investors, to provide relevant information, including on past financials, future projections, the company’s capital structure
Develop, implement, and oversee effective systems for consolidation of financials across the company and its subsidiaries
Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities
Support and work with other functions, including HR, Digitalization, and Project Management on all matters related to finance including the building of effective financial systems, reporting, and planning; develop an attitude in the finance team to work closely with and support colleagues in other functions
Requirements
Masters/Bachelors in Finance/Accounting or related
CA/CFA
At least 15 years in financial capacity, with minimum of 5 years in senior leadership role, ideally in a similar industry
Knowledgeable in corporate finance, financial analysis, accounting & reporting, cash management, planning, and financial performance management strategies and tools
Track record of strategic financial planning and execution
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
