Job description

What You'll Do:

  1. Directs and monitors the general operations of the Electricity Service Centre (ESC), reporting to the Senior Operations Officer (SOO).
  2. Activates and coordinates the supply restoration process for HV and LV faults and manages all complaints.
  3. Prepares and broadcasts H+5min and H+1 electricity incident WhatsApp messages.
  4. Reviews HV and LV fault reports submitted by standby officers/Service Teams and updates them in the NMACS.
  5. Activates the Emergency Management Team (EMT) during major incidents (e.g., 66kV outages, gas supply interruptions, media queries, or damage to personnel and property) via SMS notifications.
  6. Manages all materials and equipment stored in the ESC, ensuring sufficient stock to address faults.
  7. Monitors all operational and communication systems in the ESC to ensure they are functional.
  8. Handles customer calls.
  9. Attends to LV underground cable and overhead line faults.
  10. Assists HT and LV standby officers in fault investigations and supply restoration.
  11. Records details of faults attended to, such as the type and nature of faults, time taken, customer address, meter numbers, etc.
  12. Drives the company vehicle, maintains proper vehicle timesheet records, and ensures the general upkeep of the vehicle.
  13. Performs any other duties related to the job scope.
  14. Fulfils other authorities and responsibilities as documented in relevant procedures.

What You'll Need:

  1. Diploma in Engineering from recognized Polytechnics in Singapore
  2. Able to work 3-shift on rotation for 24/7 operation including public holiday
  3. Good oral and written communication skills.
  4. Good grasp of using Microsoft applications, e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, etc.
  5. Highly motivated individual with a positive attitude
  6. Able to work independently, as well as in a team and in a challenging environment
