Job description

The Business Director will be the day-to-day client lead for a key regional / global FMCG account. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams within the agency and partner with the client to create a regional structure that supports centralized needs, while also leading strategy and creative initiatives delivered locally. You will be a senior leader who fosters a strong partnership with clients and ensures that regional and local teams work seamlessly together.

What You Will Do

  • Build and maintain a trusted, collaborative partnership with the client.
  • Ensure alignment with overall strategic objectives.
  • Work closely with key client on annual planning to ensure visibility of resource requirements throughout the year.
  • Lead regional client relationship.
  • Create and establish clear ways of working with both regional and global agencies to ensure alignment and consistency to global brand standards.
  • Oversee and validate local activities across the region, ensuring they meet the highest standards and reflect the client’s goals.
  • Identify and pursue organic growth opportunities based on the client’s objectives.
  • Ensure the commercial success and long-term viability of the business across the region.

  • Track record of building and maintaining long-term client relationships.
  • Results-driven with a focus on quality and high standards.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Experience in fiscal management and effective resource allocation.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and manage high-stress situations.
  • Experienced in team management and mentoring.
  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to drive business growth.
  • A solid understanding of the current marketplace and trends.
  • Not mandatory as the business is conducted entirely in English - but an added bonus if you speak another language in addition to English.
