FX Sales Dealer (OSPL - Derivatives)

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Perform sales activities to achieve institutional and retail client acquisition goals.
2. Drive revenue by implementing tactical plans to expand client base, acquisition strategies, and participating in company’s marketing activities.
3. Dealing and execution of client FX orders.
4. Manage currency risk by hedging spot and swap exposure in the market.
5. Manage various internal and external stakeholders to drive business success.
6. Build strong client relationships, deepen wallet share, diversify client base, and focus on value creation for our clients.
7. Increase operational efficiencies and synergies across OCBC Group entities.
8. Drive financial KPIs and take ownership and accountability over objectives and results.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Degree holder with at least 8 years of experience in the financial services industry, preferably with a good track record in sales and client acquisition experience.

• A highly-motivated self-starter with strong analytical skills, excellent business acumen and the ability to deliver targets.

• Meticulous and possess the ability to work both independently as well as in a team environment.

• Strong understanding of the FX market and the retail forex ecosystem.

• Good written and verbal communication skills and effective presentation skills with the ability to confidently speak in front of clients.

• Strong under pressure with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage stress.

• As the role requires you to work with clients in the Asia Pacific region, fluency in Mandarin or Japanese is an advantage.

• CMFAS Modules 2A, 6A, M5 certifications are required.
