About the job Accountant (Project)

Responsibilities:
  1. Managing company’s project performance, from delivering operational KPI to liaising with internal Project Managers.
  2. Prepare quarterly reports for review and clearly present the results and status to various stakeholders on a regular basis.
  3. Key personnel in maintaining, analysing, and forecasting project cost to project team and management.
  4. Active involvement in budgeting and forecasting processes; administer and review all project forecasts and actuals, explain and correct variances on a monthly basis.
  5. Liaise with external auditors to conduct statutory audit and interim audit.
  6. Provide insights into project WIP, collections, risks, opportunities, and cash flow.
  7. Actively reviewing and recommending measures for continuous improvement in project management and reporting processes.
  8. Present updated financial data and actively attend project management meetings to review cost status.
  9. Review and provide accurate project payment responses and invoices for payment.
  10. Any ad-hoc duties as and when required.

Requirements:
  1. Degree in Accountancy, ACCA or any other recognized professional qualification of the same equivalent.
  2. Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
  3. Prior exposure to accounting for construction contracts is preferred.
  4. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage different personality types.
  5. Work well under pressure with multiple tasks and deadlines.
  6. Committed, responsible, organized, meticulous, and good number sense.
