Job description

The Design Communications Senior Executive is a creative individual-contributor role at Birds of Paradise Gelato Boutique, requiring a strong understanding of marketing and communications. This role serves as a custodian of the brand, creating visual communications that effectively convey the brand message while achieving marketing and sales objectives.

Responsibilities

  1. Conceptualise and generate creative work (graphics, photographs, videos) for use across omnichannel platforms (social media, website, email campaigns, digital ads, signs, brochures), events, and internal communications, ensuring strategy and engagement.
  2. Create visual communications (e.g., signages, posters, packaging, website, email, content marketing) for omni-channel marketing, events, and internal communications.
  3. Oversee physical production of final artwork.
  4. Manage visual merchandising at physical applications (e.g., in-boutique, pop-up, events).
  5. Manage social media platforms and accounts (e.g., IG, FB, TikTok, Xiao Hong Shu).
  6. Coordinate with external agencies and freelancers for outsourced design work.
  7. Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure project or campaign success.
  8. Stay updated on design, retail, and food industry trends.

Requirements

  • Diploma or higher in Design Communications or related field.

  • Excellent photography and videography skills.
  • Experience in social media management.
