Job description

MAIN PURPOSE

Shiseido Asia Pacific Cosmetic business division is looking to hire a Regional Brand Manager to lead the fast expansion of the fragrance cluster (Issey Miyake, Narciso Rodriguez, Serge Lutens, Tory Burch, Zadig & Voltaire) in APAC markets. Reporting to the Regional Brand Director, you will be responsible for crafting regional growth strategies and overseeing 360-degree plan implementations across markets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

REGIONAL STRATEGIC DIRECTION TO MARKETS

  • Translate deep understanding of fragrance markets and consumers into regional brand growth strategies, including go-to-market decisions, investment priorities, portfolio management, media/influence/PR strategies, and others.
  • Guide new markets to ensure successful high-impact brand launches.
  • Safeguard brand equity and help markets balance brand building with commercial objectives.

COLLABORATE WITH GLOBAL BRAND HOLDING

  • Provide regional business intelligence, insights, and consumer needs to global brand holding to align global brand direction and strategy with APAC region needs.
  • Represent the region’s voice in feedback regarding global brand innovation pipelines, marketing plans, and communication strategies.

MONITORING AND ANALYZING THE MARKETS/CHANNELS/DISTRIBUTIONS/COMPETITORS

  • Collect, analyze, and summarize information (Beauty Research/Market intelligence) on market activities.
  • Prepare reports on qualitative and quantitative results of major promotions.
  • Make recommendations for marketing plans and marketing mix adjustments.

DIGITAL ACCELERATION

  • Drive digital transformation at the regional level, focusing on Ecommerce and CRM initiatives.
  • Collaborate with external agencies to produce regional creative assets, social content, product demos, etc.
  • Oversee local markets’ media buying plans.

OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE

  • Support markets on daily operational topics such as product assortment, launch calendars, commercial animations, training & education, and consumer engagement activities.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a marketing role within the beauty industry, with a strong preference for fragrance experience.
  • Experience in regional or global marketing roles.
  • Knowledge of one of the two major clusters: Southeast Asia (Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia) or North Asia (Taiwan, Korea).
  • Experience managing Ecommerce business is a plus.
  • Business planning, implementation, and project management experience.
  • Strategic thinking with attention to detail and big-picture perspective.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Analytical approach to working with consumers, problem-solving, and stakeholder management.
  • Strong communication skills, positive attitude, growth mindset.
  • Flexibility to travel as required.
