Requirements:

• Good knowledge of both Freight Forwarding Sales
• Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience in the freight forwarding (Ocean) industry within commercial areas, preferably with ocean exposure in a regional role

Responsibilities:

1. Assist local and MNC freight forwarders by understanding their requirements and providing tailored solutions.
2. Communicate regularly with local customers and overseas agent offices to update them on shipment statuses and ensure seamless coordination.
3. Source and secure new sales opportunities through inbound inquiries, outbound cold calls, and emails, and schedule appointments on a day-to-day basis with freight forwarders.
4. Track sales leads, coordinate quotes, and maintain accurate customer accounts while providing excellent after-sales support.
5. Follow up proactively on submitted quotations to achieve a high success rate and close deals effectively.
6. Ensure all data are updated in the system/spreadsheets and work closely with the HQ Marketing Manager for further development and support business growth.
