Job description

Responsibilities

• Oversee all technical aspects of the design and development of EDAC, our self-service data access control product.
• Lead a team of experienced data engineers and Java developers, working with the Product Manager and other product teams within the EDE Product Line.
• Establish strong relationships with industry-leading technology vendors of data products, and contribute to shaping and delivering our product roadmap.
• Participate in evaluating new technologies to identify opportunities and estimate efforts to support the product roadmap with new tools.
• Manage the development team, collaborating closely with the Scrum Master, Product Manager, Solution Architect, and other teams.
• Lead an agile delivery team, clarify requirements, design features, assign tasks in JIRA, support Java developers, produce and track estimates, oversee the development lifecycle and documentation, and escalate issues as needed.
• Coordinate with support, maintenance, and infrastructure teams to ensure proper hosting and operation of the product.
• Engage with key technology and service partners to ensure their products are correctly configured and aligned with our product roadmap.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software/data engineering and architecture.
• Familiarity with Java development and frameworks to effectively lead the team.
• 5+ years of experience in data and analytics delivery initiatives.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, driving results across multiple projects.
• Strong collaboration skills with global teams across different time zones.
• Track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
