An established industry player seeks a skilled engineer to develop and enhance maintenance strategies for production machinery. This role involves planning equipment capacity, implementing preventive maintenance, and leading plant improvement initiatives. Responsibilities:
Develop and enhance the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) master plan and schedule for production machinery and equipment.
Plan equipment capacity and resource allocation based on business forecasts, addressing constraints and proposing improvement or upgrade initiatives aligned with company objectives.
Establish and implement preventive maintenance strategies to boost productivity, yield, and operational efficiency while meeting maintenance KPIs and reducing costs.
Ensure machines, tools, and equipment are properly maintained, repaired, and kept in optimal working condition.
Support the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
Lead equipment modification, enhancement projects, and overall plant improvement and reliability programs.
Provide day-to-day operational support to help achieve output and yield targets.
Requirements:
Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Dicing, Die Attach, Wire Bonding, Molding, or Testing equipment
Strong problem-solving skills with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
Able to work independently and take ownership with minimal supervision
Familiar with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Quality and Environmental Management Systems
Proficient in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), and Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) concepts
Prior experience in IC assembly is an added advantage
