Job Description
  • Location: Singapore Based (Changi Naval Base, project office at Lavender area)

  • Contract Details: Project contract estimated to last 26 months until completion, starting January 2024

  • Work Schedule: 5.5 days per week (Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, alternate Saturday full day)

  • Salary: $6000 to $8000 (depends on experience)

  • Qualifications: Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Civil) or equivalent

  • Experience & Skills: At least 5 years of experience in civil works; proficient in Microsoft Office, MS Project, Primavera, and AutoCAD

  • Additional Advantages: Candidates with QS or Contracts background are advantageous

Job Responsibilities
  • Liaise and assist the managing director in responding to requests for quotations from local and overseas clients
  • Manage and coordinate preparation of pre-tender documentation, respond to tender clarifications and amendments, and attend tender meetings leading to award
  • Prepare contract documents, control and administer contracts, review commercial aspects with clients and sub-contractors
  • Assist project managers in preparing monthly progress payments and ensure successful claims
  • Attend site meetings as required
  • Assist in preparing variation orders and maintaining records of work alterations and design amendments
  • Liaise with main contractors and client’s QS regarding claims and negotiations
  • Prepare budgets and cash flow projections in collaboration with directors, project managers, and financial controllers
  • Negotiate sub-contractor packages and prepare agreement letters
  • Analyze project scope and contracts for effective administration, interpreting drawings
  • Monitor project costs, control financial administration, and report cost histories for negotiations and budgeting
