Job summary

A leading company in security systems is seeking a Technical Consultant to support sales Account Managers across the SEA region. The role involves providing technical consultation, conducting training, and ensuring service quality. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years' experience in relevant fields, solid IT knowledge, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

Job description

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide technical consultation, system design, and solution proposals to support sales Account Managers for projects across the SEA region.

  • Support pre-sales activities including site surveys, client meetings, technical presentations, and system demonstrations.

  • Review and validate system configurations and quotations to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements for the SEA region.

  • Deliver technical training to SEA sales and technical teams to enhance knowledge and capabilities.

  • Offer post-sales technical support for projects or customer service cases where assistance is required by Project Managers or engineers.

  • Provide Testing & Commissioning (T&C) support for SEA projects.

  • Conduct on-site client training and ensure delivery of training materials in a professional and clear manner.

  • Ensure service quality aligns with standards and policies by delivering prompt and efficient responses to all service requests within the assigned region.

  • Participate in internal training programs to continuously enhance technical skills and product knowledge.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in security systems, electronics, or small-scale electronic project implementation and commissioning, preferably within a multinational environment.

  • Solid IT knowledge, particularly in security hardware, networking, and databases.

  • Familiarity with access control systems, CCTV, and alarm system products is highly advantageous.

  • Experience in technical pre-sales roles is a strong advantage.

  • Strong communication and coordination skills.

  • Service-oriented with a proactive attitude and a willingness to learn quickly.
