A leading company in the chemical industry is seeking a Sales Manager to manage customer accounts and drive business growth. The successful candidate will analyze trends, prepare sales quotations, and maintain customer relationships. Applicants should have a relevant degree and at least one year of experience in sales or customer management.
Job Description:
Manage customers on forecasting and ordering.
Analyse trends and forecast for account.
Increase new customer account for Business Growth including regional sales role.
Perform cold call activities.
Follow-up on leads with new customers.
Service and maintain existing customer account.
Handle customer requests and queries (e.g., short lead-time orders, etc)
Identify and respond to customer needs
Establish and offer competitive price to customers.
Prepare and issue Sales Quotation using SAP.
Maintain inventory level for customer orders and optimise delivery.
Negotiate purchase pricing with suppliers for competitive advantage.
Providing overall guidance to newly-recruited sales staff.
Assist with financials and data analysis
Preparing reports on the above and communicating these reports to the wider business
Undertake task/project assigned to achieve Organisational objectives.
Requirements:
Must possess a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical engineering / Chemistry / Material Science
At least 1 year of working experience in relevant fields
Understand customer requirements and propose suitable solutions
IT savvy and knowledge in MS Office and SAP
Persuasive and Negotiation Skills
